This year’s Folk Festival took place over the May Day bank Holiday weekend as always. What a wonderful , sunny weekend for the Folk Festival activities at the Tudor House Museum.
An action packed Bank Holiday weekend at the Museum. It started with a virtuoso Harp performance in reception by the wonderfully talented Liz Dodd, which was incredibly well received., followed by various folk dance “sides”, guitar workshops and extremely humorous story telling, which left visitors laughing and crying , in equal measures !
A fabulous event, finished off by 2 Morris “sides” enjoying dancing in the sunshine in the Museum Garden. Even “Cromwell” ( the metal sculpture in the Pepperpot gardens) was dressed for the occasion !
