GRAND SUMMER OPENING on SATURDAY 9th APRIL 2022
The Tudor House Museum’s GRAND SUMMER OPENING is on Saturday 9th April with free entry from 10.30 – 4.30 pm. There will be a Plant Sale and Guess the Artefact table, a Raffle, Second hand book sales, Museum Sales table and Children’s activities including a Mouse Trail indoors and a family photo opportunity in the Garden with Henry Vlll and Elizabeth l.
We are also delighted to be hosting a wonderful new exhibition of 75 dolls wearing historically accurate costumes hand-made by Lisa Jayne Smith – ‘THE CHANGE IN LADIES FASHION FROM 1066 – 1980’s’ is set out on the groundfloor of the Museum. The collection took over 5 years to create and shows the wonderful diversity and development of Ladies clothing over the centuries. A joy to behold!
