ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Please tell the Volunteers if you require any assistance during your visit, they will be happy to help you.

There is ramped access on the ground floor and in the Garden. Unfortunately there isn’t a lift to the upper floors.

If you cannot manage the stairs, you can look round the Garden and enjoy it’s peaceful atmosphere and beautiful flowers. You can view the ground floor exhibits and sit and look through any of the local history files of photographs, the file on Admiral Sir William Tennant and the Pepperpot Players files of photographs, programmes and press cuttings.  A DVD tour of the upper floors is available to watch and a DVD of the 1947 and 2007 local floods.      Children can enjoy the colouring and craft table and there is a Mouse Trail around the Museum.

There are only toilets available on the first floor. There are disabled toilet facilities at the nearby Hanley Road car park.
